Lot 927 French Foreign Legion Uniform w/ Musket
Fully outfitted mannequin represents a Foreign Legionnaire from the mid 19th Century, wearing Kepi Blanc with white sun cover for neck, epaulettes, brass buttons on tunic, waist belt with brass buckle, canteen, haversack, button fly summer weight white breeches with matching leggings, later shoes. "Devisme a Paris" marked percussion musket has back action lock, circa 1850's to 1870. 69 cal rifled barrel, bayonet numbered 0081. Rod and sling included, works well, nipple replaced. good overall condition, stock is fair to good. A museum quality display. Joseph Musso Collection.
